I will take any opportunity at all to reference the original trilogy, regardless of what happens to our heroine.  I’ve just proved that.

My birthday is coming up soon, and I’m determined to do it Hobbit style this year; by that I mean I’m going to hand out presents.  Seriously.  What I’m going to hand out and to who I have no idea, but I am steadfastly refusing to back down on this.  The mere fact that I can devote time to this project is rather compelling proof that I have everything I need, and is probably the best gift I can think of.

I’ll probably end up building junk electronic widgets or other things that are essentially chindogu.  If so I’ll be sure to share what I’ve come up with.

With this sudden impactful event the “Molly’s Birthday” pack of continuity is winding down.  She still has a little bit of vacation left, perhaps giving her enough time to wrap up what she’s been working on, and then it’s back to the grind.  I have a lot of things in store for her when she returns, some good, some bad, but all in hopes of finding some excuse to reference the original trilogy again at her expense.

I kid, I’ll keep her sudden stops against solid objects to a minimum.  Or I’ll try.
