Birthday shot

I have a getaway weekend ahead of me, so I have a lot to do before I hit the road, not the least of which involves the Monday update brought to you by my Patrons.  Yep, next week is a three comic week once again, as is every week that starts in the second monday of every month.  I’m incidentally inching ever closer to the second milestone in the patron campaign which will bring an additional three comic week here each month.  Not that I’m hinting at anything, unless it’s that I’d love an excuse to draw more frequent Molly for everyone.

You need to be constantly reading Don’t Hit Save, and listening to this podcast called the Alexandria Archives, because I do and everyone knows what impeccable taste I have.  Apparently the same impeccable taste that Molly has in friends.

Until Monday,

I Love You

It’s been a busy two weeks, but I’m apparently still vertical, so I suppose that’s something.  I wanted to be sure everyone knew that a fresh episode of  Molly’s Feed is up, featuring the fantastic Galactic Dragons by the talented Dana Atnip.  She had some nice things to say about it, so I’d say that qualifies as a win-win!

Here is said review.

Speaking of win, Josh from RGBros gave Molly his inimitable treatment, and it pleases me to share it with you now.  Because I like it.

In other news, I’ve updated the cast page and rebuilt the archive page properly after the recent incident.  I’m going to further spruce up the archives page by splitting it up into relevant sections and do a few other things to it, as I can.

I put up another special sneak peak for my Patrons as well, if you’re curious and also want to support this project, you’re in for a massive one single dollar a month.  Consider it if you would, as I want to have all the more excuse to devote more time and energy to this stuff.

I will be back Friday, and next week is a three comic week.  Till then, folks, till then!

My Work My Way

Meet Damon, our latest Patron Cameo, and the “My Work, My Way” camera.   I somehow get the impression that this setting, encapsulating the giant Molly Mural and this live streaming camera may be a recurring one.  Who knows, I only work here.

Speaking of recurring, it seems that there’s a running theme around a certain webcomic called Don’t Hit Save, in which he has this unfortunate frequent tendency to go viral.  This time, the mainstream media took notice (oh, click the “Fury and Fear” link if you don’t see what i’m talking about).

Anyway, I think Molly spends a lot of time getting zapped and shocked what with all of her hardware disasters and dares, so a little shot like this would probably end up tickling more than anything else.  Chuck seems to be aware of this.

I myself am aware that I am needed elsewhere, so I’ll leave it at this for now.  Back next week.

Like Hell

Tess is back!  And so is the site!  What’s that mean?  What about the site?

Reposted from yesterday, to ensure visibility:

Long Story short,  I had to quickly rebuild the site after stupidly truncating the wrong database.  I did it to myself, so if you plan to comment at all, please do so mockingly.  Every part of the site was included in my weekly backup plan, except that which holds it all together, the database.  Of course!  Well, I wouldn’t exactly be consistent with my main character without earning a site destroying award.

All of the comics are back up, but over 400 comments were lost.  I think I’ll consider implementing  the likes of Disqus to alleviate this issue in the future.

Ah well, I’ve been meaning to revisit the archive page (It was getting unwieldy) and the cast page (I lacked entries for the most recent cast additions).  Now that all the main content is back where it needs to be (roughly), I’ll take a quick breather and revisit all the rest a bit later on.

Also, I apologize, but the RSS feed was updating all throughout the recovery process; I had thought I was rebuilding everything behind a non-launched “coming soon” redirect, but the RSS feed updated anyway. Sorry for the spam.
