Check It Out

Molly gets volun-told in today’s new comic.

Quick news! I’ll be blogging over at adobekroger.com, the home for my new literary efforts, as often as I can. Have a look and consider following the Adobe Kroger page on the facebook.

I’ll be back Friday with more Molly.

Which One

Hello folks! In today’s Molly, our Blue girl meets a new girl. So to speak. I hope everyone stateside had a great thanksgiving.

I mentioned last week that, due to events earlier this year, certain Patreon subscribers have expressed dissatisfaction with the platform and have asked for other options if they choose to support Molly Beans. To that end, here are some alternatives.

I’ve set up a recurring paypal subscription button you can use to pledge the same amounts per month as you can on the Patreon, as well as a page over on makersupport. If you were a former Patreon subscriber and elect to re-up on one of these alternatives, I will arrange another similar kind of perk that was available on Patreon, as well as a signed sketch.

Anyway, thanks in advance if you plan to support the project! Every last bit of it goes toward me spending more time expanding what I can offer.

Aaaand, once again I’m going to mention something I’ve already mentioned.  If you haven’t seen it yet, have a look at the main theme for Molly Beans, “Back From The Dead”!

Also, I’m going to mention something else again, because I think it’s pretty sweet.

I recently published my first in a series of Urban Fantasy novels, entitled Adobe Kroger, Knight Errant.   It tells the tale of the titular Adobe Kroger, an excommunicated holy knight who is about to have the time of her young life.  So to speak.  Have a look at the trailer!

The  book is now available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and others in Hardcover, Paperback, and eBook.  I’m working on getting it added to Kindle Unlimited as well,  because I genuinely care.

This project has been in the works for some time, to say the least, and I’m thrilled, excited, and pleased at the final result.  If you’ve been enjoying Molly, why not stop by for a while in Adobe’s world?  If you do, consider leaving a review on Amazon or Goodreads.  Seriously, that helps.

I’ll be back Friday with another comic. Thanks for stopping by!  Let me know what you think of the theme tune, the trailer, and, once you’ve read it (and you will, won’t you?), the book!

Not Even Close

Hello folks, and welcome to another Wednesday episode of Molly! In this one, we see that someone has taken notice of her work on her grandparent’s power bank. Let’s see where this goes.

In today’s comic, Molly learns a little something new about Poppop.  You know what I’ve learned? I’ve learned that Three comic weeks thanks to the support of fantastic people are challenging and rewarding, and I love that I’m in a position to need to do them.

Speaking of Patreon, I mentioned a while back that I would be exploring other options for anyone who wishes to support Molly Beans without supporting a platform whose practices they disagree with.  I myself can’t find fault in that, at all.  I’ve been meaning to set up properly on paypal and explore other creator  support options, like Minds.com or Gab.ai’s premium subscriber features, or Makersupport.  I just haven’t had the time to do proper research.  I will try to do so this weekend.  Thanks to all who have supported via Patreon but could not in good conscience continue to do so; I am with you and will attempt to provide other options.

Anyway, once again I’m going to mention something I’ve already mentioned.  If you haven’t seen it yet, have a look at the main theme for Molly Beans, “Back From The Dead”!

No

In today’s comic, Poppop gets to the heart of the matter.  He knows his Molly Doll well.

Flatten

Today we see that the unshakable nature of a true parental bond can indeed span generations.  I imagine that the premium of personal space in the Beans trailer lent itself to a sort of unavoidable intimacy, and that there are also few if any secrets among Molly and her grandparents.

Speaking of secrets, it’s time to quit keeping one and share something new.  I’ve been working on this for some time, and to be perfectly honest I had intended to debut it with a little more flair, but father time has been a bit on the stingy side these past six months.  I began work on an animated short to accompany this, but in the end I realized I was never going to be able to complete it alone in anything resembling a timely manner, so in lieu of a cartoon I elected to go with the below image.  In any event, here’s “Back From The Dead,” the Molly Beans Main Theme.  I hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think.

I announced something else fairly cool last week, and I’m going to reiterate it here and now, because I can.

I recently published my first in a series of Urban Fantasy novels, entitled Adobe Kroger, Knight Errant.   It tells the tale of the titular Adobe Kroger, an excommunicated holy knight who is about to have the time of her young life.  So to speak.  Have a look at the trailer!

I’ll be back two more times this week with new Molly comics.  Thanks for stopping by!  Let me know what you think of the theme tune, the trailer, and, once you’ve read it (and you will, won’t you?), the book!

Brain Drain

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by for another Friday edition in the life of Molly Beans.  Molly is having a hard time being her usual self lately ever since learning that Chuck may be gone a bit longer than initially planned; not even Poppop doing geek homework seems to cheer her up.  Let’s see what happens.

Speaking of seeing what happens, I’ve had a habit of insinuating that I’ve been hard at work on something interesting for quite some time now.  While that technically may have been true, I’ve had a number of near misses and false starts as far as actually completing that interesting thing, and I have to admit that each time I’ve needed to postpone a proper announcement of this interesting thing it’s been a trifle on the frustrating side.  At least for me.

With that in mind, I’d like to, as they say, cut the crap and finally say that I’ve properly completed that interesting thing.  That interesting thing is:

Adobe Kroger, Knight Errant.   The first in a new series of Urban Fantasy novels, starring the titular young potty mouthed Holy Knight.  Feast your eyes on the finally completed trailer.  Look at how utterly completed it is.

The completed book is now completely available on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and others in Hardcover, Paperback, and eBook.

Speaking of Molly, next week there will be three comics as opposed to the regular two thanks to the incredible support I’ve received at the Patreon page.  We’re getting geared up here for a pivotal moment in the blue haired engineer’s life, and I can’t wait to get into it.

Thanks for reading, and I’ll see you all Monday!

Misery

Thanks for stopping by again.  It looks like Molly may have a lot more on her mind than she initially let on;  I wonder if a little tinkering can distract her from it all.  Let’s see.

Speaking of let’s see, I need to show you something.   Molly shows up along with a few others in the latest King of Slackers comic. I was wondering where she went last night.  Thanks, bearded Swedish comic making dude!  You’re aces.

I’ll be back Friday with more of this Molly centric stuff.

Clinical

In today’s comic Heather offers some amateur psychological observations. Perhaps she learned a bit from her time with the good doctor.  Or perhaps it’s common sense.

I’m going to spend the weekend attempting once again to get a few things finished that I hope will take this project to the next phase.  If I do, you all will be the first to know about it.

Speaking of the next phase, today’s comic was the 190th installment of Molly Beans – A life in development.  Seriously.  I am within spitting distance of comic #200, already.  It is a commonly employed cliche, but I honestly feel like I just started this project last week.  Maybe I did, and I’m just a deranged, workaholic overachiever who never leaves his room.

You decide.

While you ruminate on that, I have a lot of stuff to get back to.  See you all next week.

I Need A Ride

Hello folks, thanks for stopping by to have a look at today’s comic.  In it, we revisit Heather’s situation, and find that she’s in the process of setting up a shiny new studio.  Meanwhile, Molly appears to be slowly and increasingly weighed down;  maybe a little busywork will be just the thing to get her mind off the stressors.

If you may recall, Molly built a Wind and Solar power bank for her grandparents a while back, during a well deserved two week vacation from the daily grind.   She needed a little help to get the design perfect, since she was largely learning as she went, but in the end, she did all the legwork.  Now it seems she needs to deal with the fact that everything may not have been as durable as she would have liked;  Ill timed in some ways, but maybe well timed in others.  Let’s see.

For now, Heather gets a little of her own back here.

I’ll be back Friday with more.
